About

I started in natural language processing as an undergrad, began my career as an ML engineer, and now work as a researcher, engineer, and manager — the interesting problems keep needing all three.

CyberAgent AI Lab I lead the Marketing Intelligence team, applying NLP, LLMs, and reinforcement learning to ad text generation, evaluation, and performance prediction. I led the research behind products such as

KiwamiTD, and I still design and build the systems we ship. Research and product feed each other: what those systems run into becomes benchmarks like

AdTEC and

CAMERA, or papers at ACL, NAACL, and EMNLP; what we learn there goes back into the product.

I keep making things outside work too, and I care as much about how they look and feel as what they do — typography, motion, interaction details. The longer list is in Projects, and the off-hours end up in For Fun.
